Once the reservation is confirmed, we will send the customer the exact location and address of the pickup station. Upon arrival at the station, the following steps are carried out:
- Briefing: The customer receives a comprehensive introduction to the quad’s operation
- Driver’s License: The customer’s driver’s license must be photographed.
- Damage Check: The customer takes a video of the quad to document any existing damages.
- Fuel Level: The fuel tank is photographed before departure, as the vehicle must be picked up with a full tank and returned fully fueled.
- Storage Box: A photo of the storage box is taken to confirm that the quad is equipped with two helmets.
These steps are repeated when returning the quad to verify the vehicle’s condition and fuel level. Driving Areas: The quads are GPS-tracked and must comply with general traffic regulations that all licensed drivers should know. There are no special designated areas for driving, however, off-road driving is not permitted. Driver’s License Requirements: The customer must possess a valid driver’s license and present or photograph it on-site. There is no requirement for how long the license must have been held. Driver Change: A driver change is only permitted if the second driver also signs a contract and presents or photographs their driver’s license. Otherwise, insurance coverage will not apply. Helmet use is mandatory for your safety. If you’re planning to visit Teide, please remember to bring warm clothing, as temperatures can be quite low. If you plan to take cable car to Teide, be sure to book your cable car tickets in advance, as availability can be limited (cable car tickets are not our product is selling by Volcano Teide). Don’t forget to ensure your vehicle has a full tank of fuel before heading out.
