Two day Sailing Adventure on Vertico Uno!

The perfect Romantic Getaway, or a chance for friends or families to spend quality time together and enjoy a little piece of paradise on the Atlantic Ocean.

Unwind on our Jeanneau Sun Odyddey 39i (maximum 6 passengers) as you depart Puerto Colón Marina with your professional skipper at 10:00 am we set sail along the spectacular Southwest coast of Tenerife, watching Pilot Whales and Dolphins and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

Dropping anchor in the clear bay of Masca with the breathtaking cliffs of los Gigantes as your backdrop, you can swim and snorkel in the clear blue water and discover the underwater life. Your skipper will prepare freshly made tapas and you can sample Canarian Wines as well as a selection of fresh fruit. From the bay we sail the 20 mile crossing, a real Sailing experience as we pass the acceleration zone to the beautiful harbour of San Sebastian in La Gomera arriving around sunset. After freshening up, a short walk to the town reveals a selection of restaurant and cafes where you can enjoy the local relaxing atmosphere. Try a juicy steak or freshly caught local fish!

You have the option to spend the night on board, relax with candle light on decks under a moonlit sky, enjoy a board game perhaps, another drink or two and stay in your own private cabin. If you don.t wish to stay on board choose between a one night stay in a four star Luxury Hotel with swimming pool, beautiful gardens and a breathtaking view over the Atlantic Ocean or a Family run cosy Hotel close to the Marina. After a good night rest, fresh coffee and a continental breakfast will be served on deck at 10:00 am. Your Yacht will once again set sail to discover the delights of the west coastline of La Gomera and an incredible view of Mount Teide on the Island of Tenerife, the highest mountain in Spain.

Throughout the return journey you will have the chance to take the helm and practice your sailing skills or simply relax an deck and enjoy the sun and Ocean. A selection of local cheeses and Serrano ham will keep your hunger at bay until we arrive back in Puerto Colón Marina at approximately 5:00 pm. End your well deserved break with a glass of Champagne on deck.

"Dotsy Too: Big Game Fishing In Tenerife"

Our exceptional climate all year through, and the marine currents that surround the archipelago, mean that the water temperature varies between 26ºC in summer and 19ºC in winter (80ºF and 67ºF). The beautiful clear waters permit the organisation of a submarine photography contest annually. The deep and varied ocean floor (up to 3,500 meters between the islands) makes an excellent home for the many bottom species. Throughout the whole year, with the help of a good sounder, the bottom fisherman can be guaranteed memorable fishing; not only in variety but also in size and weight. During the Trolling season; the lures are in the water right from the moment that we leave port. The undoubted king of big game fishing is the Blue Marlin, which with its powerful attack and spectacular and impressive defence in the battle to free itself from the fisherman, promises the ultimate adrenaline rush:

• The Bluefin Tuna, the biggest of the Tuna family with weights reaching 1,000 Lbs. or more, is known for its brutal strength in the fight, and his desperate dive towards the bottom after hook-up offers another great challenge of big game fishing.
• The most famous coastal predator is without a doubt the Wahoo, a great opponent because of his aggressiveness and blinding speed during battle.
• The Dolphinfish (mahi-mahi) with his very luminous colours, peculiar shape and highly regarded meat is another worthy predator. It roams around floating objects in open ocean hunting small fish that seek refuge there. The dolphinfish is a magnificient and agile fighter.

Sailing up the south-west of Tenerife will allow you to take some scenic shots of this part of the island as well as Mount Teide, before stopping in at Spaghetti Bay where the order of the day is a refreshing dip in the ocean and if you so desire some snorkelling, one of our new services for winter, or really enjoy the true grandeur of the Freebird One to just relax, chill in the sun, and keep working that tan, where the netting area at the front of the catamaran is the ideal place for just that.

Not forgetting on our deluxe catamaran there is an upper and lower deck. Lower deck where you´ll find the spacious, stylish washrooms & toilets. There is a comfortable inside lounge to cool down if you fancy a little shade break, and one of the most fantastic features of this catamaran is our fly bridge with shade and seating area where our customers can enjoy the best views over all the catamaran, the ocean and at the same time see the captain at work.

Our VIP 3 hour sail package includes a DELICIOUS BUFFET, with a list of drinks to choose from throughout the sail, of red, white wine, beer, soft drinks, champagne, and added to our drinks service for winter;
